| Permian Palaeobotany : |
Studies are focused mainly on morphological, structural, palaeoecological and evolutionary characteristics of Glossopteris floral elements of different Indian Gondwana sedimentary basins viz. Damodar, Satpura, Wardha, Godavari. Additionally, studied Permian plant megafossils of Arunachal Pradesh (North East India).

| Gondwana Megaspores : |
Studies confined to taxonomy, morphology, anatomy, distribution and evolutionary patterns of Indian Gondwana megaspores from different sedimentary basins. Additionally, evaluated biostratigraphic significance of Indian Gondwana megaspores
| Dispersed angiospermous cuticles : |
Studies focused on morphotaxonomical, structural and palaeoecological aspects of dispersed angiospermous leaf cuticles.Additionally, estimated palaeo carbondioxide (pCO2) through stomatal index analysis.
