Present work engazed in: At present carrying out palynostratigraphical investigation of the Tertiary sediments of North West and Central Himalayas. Main objectives are: Morphotaxonomy of palynofossils, palynological Zonations, correlation, dating, reconstruction of palaeoclimate, palaeoenvironmental and vegetational history of the areas understudy. Precisely, I am engazed in the palynological study of the shallow marine Subathu Formation ( Palaeocene –Eocene) of J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Eocene rocks of Meghalaya, India. Besides surface sediments of Siwalik Group of rocks (Mio-Plio-Pleistocene) in U.P., Uttarakhand, H.P., Nepal and Palaeogene and Neogene rocks of Andaman and Nicobar Group of Islands have also been the target of investigations with the same objectives.
